Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to services provided by Pearl House Advisory.

Pearl House Advisory provides professional consulting services, retainers and project-based advisory work. Because these services involve strategy, time, expertise, planning, preparation and advisory work, payments are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

This policy applies to consulting and advisory services provided by Pearl House Advisory, including but not limited to:

PR strategy
Affiliate marketing advisory
Influencer gifting strategy
Brand positioning
Launch planning
Media messaging
Client communications
Marketing consulting
Retainers
Project-based consulting work

Refund Policy

Payments are made for professional services, agreed project work, retainers or consulting time.

Due to the nature of consulting services, payments are generally non-refundable once work has commenced.

Work may be considered commenced once Pearl House Advisory has begun strategy, planning, preparation, research, calls, communication, document creation, project management, advisory work or any other activity related to the agreed scope.

Refunds may be considered at Pearl House Advisory’s discretion where:

A duplicate payment was made in error
A payment was processed incorrectly
Services have not yet commenced
A refund has been agreed in writing
Another exceptional circumstance applies

Where a refund is approved, it will usually be processed back to the original payment method where possible.

Disputes or Billing Issues

If you believe there has been an error with a payment, invoice or charge, please contact us as soon as possible at pearlhouseadvisory@gmail.com.

Please include your name, invoice number if available, the payment date and a brief description of the issue.

We will review the issue and aim to respond within 2 business days.

Cancellation Policy for Retainers

For ongoing retainer services, cancellation terms will be outlined in the relevant proposal, invoice, agreement or written scope.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, retainer payments are non-refundable once the retainer period has begun.

Either party may cancel or amend an ongoing retainer in accordance with the cancellation terms confirmed in writing before work begins.

Cancellation Policy for Project-Based Services

For project-based services, clients may request to cancel a project by contacting pearlhouseadvisory@gmail.com.

If a project is cancelled after work has commenced, the client may still be responsible for payment for work already completed, time allocated, expenses incurred, preparation completed or deliverables produced up to the cancellation date.

Any unpaid fees for work already completed or expenses already incurred may remain payable.

Deposits and Upfront Payments

Deposits, upfront payments or initial payments may be required to secure time, commence work or begin a project.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deposits and upfront payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.

Changes to Scope or Timing

If a client needs to pause, reschedule or change the timing of an engagement, Pearl House Advisory will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request.

Changes to scope, timing or deliverables may affect fees, timelines and availability. Any material changes will be confirmed in writing.

Returns

Pearl House Advisory provides consulting and professional services. We do not currently sell physical goods, so returns are not applicable.
